3 Productivity Hacks I Use To Balance Clients And My Personal Brand

Are you struggling with trying to manage your brand and also working with clients, it's time for you to create a plan and a strategy to optimize your productivity. So you can get more done within your business and offer the best client experience. In today's video, I'm going to talk about three productivity tips that you can use today. In order to get more done for your brand and for your business.

Key Points

  1. Designate your days to work on similar tasks
  2. Set a timer while you do work
  3. Batch your content

Designate your days to work on similar tasks

One hack that you can try today is to designate your days. When you look at all of the tasks that you may have to get done, group them by similar tasks so that you can try to knock all of those similar tasks out within one day. This is really good idea to help you set more boundaries with your clients. For example, if you have Mondays where you work on all of your admin work and then maybe you have Tuesdays and Thursdays to follow up and check in with your clients, you're able to kind of allow them to know what to expect and when they expect to hear from you and you're also giving yourself time to take a step back and do the things that you need to do in order to better manage your business.

Set a timer while you work

Another thing that's also been really helping me a lot lately is setting a timer while I work. If you are  getting a little scatterbrained with what you need to get done. setting a timer will really help you focus and drill down exactly on what it is that you need to do. I've tried experimenting with the Pomodoro method, I also have just tried to guess how long something is going to take me and then just trying to get it done within that time and both of those have really helped me be able to one really focus and it’s also is kind of a race to see if I can get what I need to get done during that time.

Batch Your Content

The last thing that I do is bash my content. I plan out my content all in one day for the month ahead. And I try to make sure that all of the content has been created a week or two before it's actually going to get published and helps me because I don't have to think so much about what I'm doing within my business or what's going to go out which allows me to focus more of my time on better serving my clients and making sure that I am focused on them and zeroed in on what it is that they need from me. When you do batch you have eliminated the decision making process. Rather than trying to work alongside, you're ready to have a plan to better manage your brand while also better serving your clients.

It's time to make sure that you have the right pieces in play. Take my content assessment so that you can get a full diagnosis as to what you currently need to be focusing on when building your brand with and creating content.
